My predecessor at the Jemison House loved all things flowers. She planted literally thousands of daffodil bulbs. Because of our very mild January weather, they got confused and started blooming. They are everywhere! I'm hoping that they will survive the cold snap that we've had lately and keep blooming into the normal blooming season...whatever that may be...I have a lot to learn about flowers and growing things. We're wondering what other surprises we'll see when spring arrives!
